Residents of Springfield Senior Commons have the opportunity to access their healthcare needs from experienced and dedicated physicians who come to our facility. However it is not unusual for our residents to continue seeing their prior community physicians.  In the event that your healthcare needs change, Harlee Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is adjacent to the Assisted Living complex.

The Activities Department designs recreational activities to enhance your lifestyle. You can enjoy your time participating in exercise classes, bingo, card games, crafts, movies, Wine and Cheese, Culinary Dinners, as well as activities outside of the facility.

Dining
Our dining services include an array of well-balanced nutritional meals to meet your dietary needs and restrictions.  The dining staff prides itself on offering each resident three meals a day in a restaurant setting that are flavorful, healthy and inviting. Additionally, the Café is accessible 24 hours a day for snacks and refreshments.         

Accommodations
We provide a variety of beautiful apartments with a high level of security and comfort to make each resident feel “at home”.  Each apartment is equipped with a kitchenette and private bathroom with shower.  Housekeeping and linen services are all inclusive.    

Transportation
Whether you require a trip to the doctor, the theater, church or just feel like doing a little shopping, transportation services are available to provide convenient shuttle service.  We handle all your logistical requirements and will schedule appointments. 

Recreation
We offer a wide variety of activities. Whether you are in the mood for a wine and cheese party, playing bingo, exercising, or just feel like watching a movie, Springfield Senior Commons offers something for everyone. Wellness Center
Our Wellness Center is a 24 hour on-site facility operated by our dedicated professional staff.  We promote an atmosphere that is geared towards the physical and emotional well-being of each resident.  To complement this, we also offer therapeutic services which are available to strengthen and enhance your mobility. A personal plan of care is developed for each resident. 

Salon
Rejuvenate yourself and make an appointment to visit the beauty salon.  This convenient “must-have, can’t be without” amenity makes residents feel and look their best at all times.  The facility offers standard affordable hair services for both men and women.  

Other Amenities include:

• Individual personal assistance for dressing, bathing, grooming and eating;
• Assistance with medications as needed;

• Personal laundry service (for a fixed monthly fee).
