The Rehabilitation Department at Harlee Manor consists of an experienced team of therapists who consult regularly with our nursing department and attending physicians. Harlee Manor offers each patient an individualized comprehensive program with the primary objective of returning patients to their previous home environment.
All rehabilitation is performed under the supervision and guidance of the Rehabilitation Director in conjunction with our consulting Physiatrist from the Crozer Keystone Health System.
The ultimate goal for our patients is to maximize each person’s capabilities while reinforcing safety and confidence. We are proud to have an experienced staff that has been a part of the Harlee Manor family for almost a decade, managed by a Director with over fifteen years of service at Harlee Manor.
Our highly regarded team of physical, occupational, and speech therapists works in close collaboration with nurse case management and social services to ease the transition of the patient into their discharge environment.

This center is designed as a practice forum for basic everyday tasks. The idea is to allow residents to relearn essential household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, doing the laundry and bathing. For example, for someone that has recently suffered a fall a recommendation would be made to install a shower chair in the bathroom to ensure safety and stability when they return home. Stroke victims may need assistance with preparing meals since they may have suffered paralysis in one of their arms. Adaptive equipment would be recommended for simple tasks such as cutting or dicing fruits and vegetables. The objective is to return the person to their prior level of living either in their own home environment or in an active senior retirement community.
